Paul Jacobs

Paul E. Jacobs has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since March 2009, as a director of the Company since June 2005 and as our Chief Executive Officer since July 2005. He served as Group President of the Qualcomm Wireless & Internet Group from July 2001 to June 2005.

In addition, he served as an executive vice president from February 2000 to June 2005. Dr. Paul Jacobs has been a director of A123 Systems, Inc., a lithium-ion battery developer and manufacturer, since November 2002.

Dr. Paul Jacobs holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and computer science, an M.S. degree in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Paul Jacobs is the son of Dr. Irwin Jacobs, a director of the Company.
